OUR IMPACT
In 2024-2025, we were able to help micro-businesses develop business plans, and share $15,250.00 DOVR grants for adults 25 and older, for higher education, short term training solutions.
This year, we are excited to increase services, with the Rural Readiness Program. Neri Heartland focuses on strengthening rural economic opportunity through small business development, food entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness.
We represent a community-based approach to economic resilience, through a rooted place in stance in Heartland of America, Iowa—to the Big Island, where local food production, microbusinesses, and workforce training work together to strengthen rural livelihoods. She brings her expertise of her Hawaii Businesses back with her.
What can we learn from Indigenous tribes and the currency of trade?
She has sat down and built businesses with farmers, MBAs, and started her marketing journey with Hawaii Islands, top recovery house.
Theme: Expand our efforts in community rural health. The program is informed by broad principles found in many Indigenous and rural traditions, including community-centered work, mentorship-based learning, and long-term thinking about economic sustainability.
An Alternative? Yes. First Generation Students, Neurodivergent learners, and those with disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injury. Helping play their equity part. Helping others go from homeless to Healing.
Most importantly, we support research and advocacy related to traumatic brain injury, while expanding opportunities for women and girls pursuing STEM careers.
